Sailboat: use and heritage

For Bénéteau at ENSAAMA (award-winning project)
2024

With Anatole Létang, Ethel Audouard, Alexandre Franchet, Mattéo Vezzani and Anthonin Bonami

On the occasion of its 140th anniversary, the Beneteau Group—a major player in French boating-sought to explore the notion of heritage through a sailboat concept in which we rethink life on board.

Here, we address the notion of heritage through what defines the essence of a sailboat: its sail, maritime gestures, and transmission of knowledge.

Concept research and definition

What core ideas support the project? How can life on board be rethought? How does the body interact with the sailboat and its equipment?
Research on materials, colors, and finishing textures. Laying the graphic foundations for the project presentation.
